St. Thomas Altar Society
The St. Thomas Altar Society meets from September through May on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Religious Education building at the old property located at 12th and Evergreen. Officers serve for 2-year terms. Dues are $5.00 per year. Please go to the parish office and fill out a talent survey.
Projects sponsored by the Altar Society during the year are: Rummage Sale in July, a Thanksgiving/Christmas Bazaar and Raffle in November, Mother's Day Bouquets and May Crowing of the Blessed Mother, and Cookie Sales in December and February.
The Altar Society takes care of the linens and flowers in the Church. The ladies put on a funeral luncheon for the family of a deceased parishioner. The Altar Society recently opened a religious item store. Items are available for sale before and after all Masses.
All women registered at St. Thomas belong to the Altar Society. You are invited to attend the meetings and become involved with our work for the church. Please come forward and offer your time and talent to our parish family.
